Rock River Popcorn was born in the fall of 2008 as the 'little sister' company to Hat Creek Candle in Watertown, Wisconsin. The two owners, Kari & Wendy, had offered gourmet popcorn from another local shop in their 'Made in Watertown' gift baskets and were saddened when that popcorn shop closed it's doors. That, combined with a love of gourmet popcorn, was the catalyst behind the initial popcorn experimentations, turning the Hat Creek break-room into a licensed confectionary kitchen, and ultimately becoming a gourmet popcorn company.

Not content to simply offer the standard gourmet popcorn flavors, the pair began experimenting and inventing new taste sensations. Along side the tasty gourmet popcorn classics of Cheesehead Cheddar, Caramel Corn and Triple Play (a butter-cheese-caramel mix), you'll find some innovative and truely decadent selections such as Chocolate Covered Cherry and Chocolate Covered Grasshopper (Creme de Menthe & Dark Chocolate Drizzle).

We package our gourmet popcorn creations in heavy-duty 'super-saver' bags. Unopened bags will stay fresh in your pantry for 4-6 months (but we doubt you'll be able to resist for that long!).

Besides ordering a snack bag or two, consider serving up some gourmet popcorn at your next special event. We offer economical 'Big Bags' in most of our flavors that contain 50 - 1 cup servings!
